Moor is a “Mind/Body” medicine practitioner based in New York City. Her clients reap the benefits of her holistic training in Eastern “spirituality” and her advanced schooling in Western “brain science”.
Through psychosynthesis (a type of “talk therapy”), Moor helps clients develop a deep connection with the self. She addresses psychological distress and interpersonal conflict and other trauma-induced mental and behavioral health conditions, including anxiety and depression.
Moor cultivates a mind, body, spirit unity, which transcends conventional treatments of traditional practitioners with her soothing, soulful and mindful presence and ‘bed side manner’. In particular, Moor specializes in helping clients overcome barriers to emotional intimacy.
Moor’s therapeutic approach integrates spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and physical aspects of progressive and age-old healing modalities. In conjunction with psychotherapy, the mind-body medicine practitioner borrows from her vast training in integrative health, including Buddhist meditation.
“I have known Maggie Moor for years and watched her bloom into an amazing guide. She is tender and wise, and offers her own gentle insights, along with practical and meaningful exercises for healing and awakening the body/mind union. I will be sharing I AM: Your Guide to Mind and Body Union for Total Awareness with the many people I know longing for spiritual and emotional understanding of psychical blocks and energetic empowerment.”
